Sessions are available in-person and online. It's recommended to contact Ilona for a free 15-minute consultation call before scheduling to assess whether hypnotherapy and/or Somatic EMDR is right for you.

Hypnotherapy

Services start with a 120-minute initial session, including orientation, pre-talk, client assessment, hypnosis, and post-talk. Follow-up sessions are 90 minutes, with a shorter pre-talk, hypnosis, and post-talk.

Somatic EMDR

Services begin with a 90-minute initial session, including orientation, pre-talk, client assessment, and Somatic EMDR practice. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes, focusing on Somatic EMDR.

Consistency and repetition are key to lasting results! Clients are recommended to schedule weekly sessions, or at most bi-weekly, once treatment has started.

Follow-up sessions are recommended and available in discounted packages of 2, 4 or 6 sessions.

Session package types are determined during the consultation and initial session.

Single sessions are available for follow-ups with previous clients only.

Booking & Payment

Appointments can conveniently be booked through the Jane App. Credit card information is required at the time of booking. Payments are processed after the session. If credit card payment is not an option, e-transfers are also accepted. Simply use this email address: ilonashypnotherapy@gmail.com.

Cancellation Policy

You are kindly asked to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Time slots are exclusively reserved for you and could be filled by another client. Without timely cancellation, the full session fee will be charged to the client.

  • No guarantees are provided, as the outcomes of hypnotherapy and Somatic EMDR differ for each person.

  • The fees account for the cost of services, the therapist's time, and operational expenses.

  • Prepaid packages are non-transferable and must be utilized within six months of purchase. Any unused sessions after this time will be forfeited and are non-refundable.

Guarantee & Refund

Insurance Coverage

In BC, hypnotherapy and somatic EMDR coverage depends on your insurance plan. Check with your provider for details on complementary therapies.

  • Extended Health Plans: Plans from insurers like Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Great-West Life and Manulife may cover hypnotherapy under "psychological services" or "complementary health."

  • Health Spending Accounts (HSAs): Some employers' HSAs may reimburse hypnotherapy services.

  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs): EAPs may offer limited access to mental health services, including hypnotherapy, as part of their employees’ wellness benefits.
